Privacy Policy

Cover Design App, operated by Medialusion Group ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

Account information. Your email address, name, and role — provided when you sign up or when an administrator invites you.

Content you upload or create. Book titles, blurbs, manuscripts or PDF excerpts, reference images, author photos, generated covers and assets, prompts, and project metadata you create in the app.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, subscription status, and transaction identifiers — we never see or store your full card number.

Usage and analytics. Events such as page visits, generations, and feature usage, plus standard web analytics (Google Analytics). In-app session recording may be enabled from time to time.

• Provide and improve the service (generation, libraries, billing)
• Manage subscriptions, credits, receipts, and customer support
• Send service emails: receipts, invitations, and (if you opt in) product news and tutorials via our email provider (Kit)
• Analyze usage trends to maintain fair usage limits and prevent abuse
• Respond to disputes and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded manuscripts or images to train AI models.

We share limited data with providers needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), Kit (email list management), Google (analytics; and Google Workspace APIs used for the support inbox — Google APIs' user-data restrictions apply), and AI image/text providers (your prompts and images are sent to these providers solely to perform the generation you request). Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.

We use essential cookies for login sessions and standard analytics cookies to understand traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We keep your account, projects, and generated assets while your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your account data and uploads, except records we must retain for billing, tax, or dispute purposes (e.g., transaction logs). Deleted subscription and credit records are retained in anonymized or summary form as needed for financial record-keeping.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA) or the EEA/UK (GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link. To make a request, email support@coverdesignapp.com from your account address. We respond within the timelines required by law and do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level permissions so users only see their own projects. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data. Full-resolution files behind watermarked previews are stored privately and are only accessible after unlock.

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; significant changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
